I would love to use some of these fonts, but I’m not sure how to access them after I download them. I use a WordPress Self Hosted blog…any suggestions?
Vicki- If you are on a MAC, you will just want to open the file you downloaded and double click on the name of a font. There will be a window that will pop up with an install button. Just click it and it’s installed!
If you are on a PC, Open the folder containing the new font. Right-click on the font file you wish to install and select Open. In the resulting Font Preview screen, click on the Install button at the top left of the window.
Hope that is helpful!
Thanks for responding, Heather. I know I sound like an idiot, but I don’t know where to find the installed fonts. Not only have I never installed one before (I believe that I have now!) but I’m using Windows 8 and can’t seem to find various things that I need. (Like the font folder) It’s maddening, because I’m not computer illiterate. Ugggh….
Do you mean you can’t find the font file after you download it from the internet?
I am having the same trouble. I can find the folder, but when I open it, there is terms of use and an image, but nothing that allows me to type in the font. I have a PC.
After you open the folder, do you see a file that ends in .ttf? or otf? If you do, right click on it and select Open. In the resulting Font Preview screen, click on the Install button at the top left of the window. Hope that helps, Teresa.
Are these free for commercial use?
You have to check each font, as some are and some are not.
hello, I can’t seem to find the “Ella inspired” when I click on it, it says it can’t be accessed. I’m looking particularly for the “Hot Cocoa” script…thanks!
Do you have the Christmas font in the very first one by chance?
Lindsey, If you click the link below the image title “Kayla Aimee” it will bring you to her website where she lists the name of the font with a link to download it! Hope that helps.
I don’t know where your installer installed the fonts to? They are not in my downloads folder, nor on my desktop or in my apps. It said “installed’ but they also are not in the Font Book yet ( I’m on a mac) Thanks!
Debbie-On your Mac, they should be a zipped folder in your “downloads” folder. Make sure that you clicked on the NAME of the font you want to download. That will bring you to the font website where you get the actual file!
These are beautiful! Thanks for putting them all together in one place to choose from. I am using them now for gift tags on the homemade gifts my children made.
Thanks for sharing these fonts. I will really enjoy them:) Merry Christmas!!
Hi,
I dont know how to get any of these fonts at all. I’m not familiar with how these work. Thanks for any advice or help.
Cindy- Simply click on the text link below each image…that will bring you to the website that has all of the fonts listed. When you download the font, double click the file and it should install directly to your font file on your computer!
Hello,
Are these fonts still available? I can’t get anything to open up & I noticed the comments are old. Is it supposed to still be a good website?
Thanks,
Sheia
Sheila- Just click on the LINK below each image…it will take you to the website where the different fonts are offered. I just went through the post and the links are working for me!
Hi I just downloaded some of the fonts! I have a Mac book but I would like to install the fonts on my word program. How can I go about doing that? Btw thank you for the fonts!
When you install the fonts to your Mac, they will automatically show up in any program you are using, such as Word! It’s that easy.
What font did you use for “Holiday” in your 100 best Holiday fonts?
The font is called “Contribute” and if you Google it, you will find there is a free version available!
Thank you!! Found it! If it isn’t too hard to explain… How did you get the “extra lines” effect? I use Elements for scrapbooking.
