Yummiest Ever {Peach} Pound Cake
OK, you all! I just. had. to. SHARE this yummy, yummy recipe with you!! A few months back my super sweet friend in our small group served this Yummiest Ever {Peach} Pound Cake and I just about died! Normally I am a chocoholic kind of girl, but this Pound Cake blew my chocolate addiction out of the water!
Crazy me, I asked for the recipe. Ugh, because now I find any excuse to make it!! This weekend I had a little Norwex Party (if you have never heard of Norwex, you need to Google Norwex Chicken Demo and you will be completely shocked!!) and had some friends and neighbors over. Awesome, this meant that I had yet another excuse to make this incredibly scrumptious Pound Cake.
It absolutely melts in your mouth and when you are baking it….oh MY!….your house will smell so good!
The other thing I have decided is that really, you could put any kind of fruit you wanted in the cake or simply not put any fruit in it at all! Then, top it with some strawberries or blueberries and almonds! Oh, the options are endless!
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 t. almond extract
- 1 t. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. diced peaches
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add almond and vanilla.
- Add flour/baking soda/salt alternately with the sour cream.
- Fold in peaches.
- Pour into greased & floured bundt pan.
- Bake 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely.
