Easy DIY Succulent Planters | Friday Favorite 5
Over the past few years I have fallen in love with succulents! I love having them outside on our patio during the summer and then I bring them inside during the winter months! It makes it easy to use the same planters year after year.
You can head to your local home improvement store to find succulent plants. In the summer, they will be in the garden center. At other times of the year, be sure to look at the indoor plant area. What is even easier is to grab the succulents from Amazon. You can buy a small grouping or even an assortment of 20! One other thing to keep in mind, is that a cactus and succulent soil mix is going to be best for growing.

For the succelents that are in the vase with rice & beans, how do they survive? Any dirt hiding there?
YES! just a little bit of dirt and they will survive with being watered about every 2 weeks!
Wif I use rice and coffee beans, when I water it, won’t the coffee bean water stain the rice?
I kept my newly bought succulents indoors and they died after 2 weeks. I took them out once a week for some sun. What did I do wrong?
Did you happen to over-water? I keep succulents inside year round–but really ignore them–giving them just a tad of water every few weeks!
