Customizable Wedding Shower Invitations
Wedding season is quickly approaching and planning is in full swing for brides and their bridesmaids! I know that throwing a bridal shower can get costly! If possible, finding some corners to cut costs is best for everyone!
One way I have found to cut wedding shower costs in the past is to create and print my own invitations. It’s a great opportunity to use my creativity and possibly incorporate either the wedding colors or colors of the current season to create a beautiful invitation.
Thanks these days to Pinterest, DIY weddings, showers and parties are more popular than ever! The boards on Pinterest are overflowing with endless fabulous ideas. It almost seems there are so many ideas available that our minds swirl with possibilities it becomes hard to pick and choose!

Here’s how to simply create your custom bridal invitations:
{The script fonts I used are available in PicMonkey.com. The script font on the bird invitation is La Belle Aurore. The flower invitation script is called Bilbo Swash Caps.}
1. Download (links below) one of the free customizable bridal shower invitations you would like to use .
2. Go to Picmonkey, upload the image and add a text box to the image to enter the info you would like on the invitation.
3. Save the image and download to print. You can either print the invitation on photo paper or take it to an office supply store, like Staples or FedEx Kinkos, to print on card stock. Or print it on card stock on your home computer!
