Kid’s Summer Job Customizable Flyers
I don’t know about your kids, but mine are always looking for ways to make money during the summer. Earning money does get easier as the kids get older, but finding things for the younger kids takes a little more creativity.
One thing that has worked out well for my boys is to tend to the homes of vacationing neighbors! It’s a win-win situation. When neighbors go on vacation, they might need a number of miscellaneous jobs done, such as:
- collecting mail & newspapers
- feeding & caring for pets
- watering flowers
- mowing the grass
None of these jobs are too time consuming and are fairly simple for younger kids to do with some adult supervision or for older kids to do by themselves.
When my boys were young (8-10) my husband and I would go with them to do these things to make sure everything was done right. Sure, this took time on our part, but it was worth it to teach the kids at a young age about caring for others property and completing a job well done. In turn, they felt successful and were able to walk away with a few extras dollars in their pockets.
I have created some simpleย Kid’s Summer Job Customizable Flyers that your kids can use this summer. Simply click on the link to the flyer, and fill in the information that you child would like to display. Then, save and print! You can bring these to your neighbors and before your kids knows it, they will have jobs lined up for the summer!
