Personalized School Notes from Mom

It seems to never fail, 2 minutes before the bus is about to come one of the kids tells you they need a note for their teacher! Agh! Stress heightens as you quickly try to write a note and not have your kiddo miss the bus!

When my boys were young, I had pre-printed some personalized school notes and they turned out to be a life saver! Here’s why–I could quickly grab a note, mark which of my kiddos it was from, scribble a quick message, sign, date and I was done.

I created a DIY version just for you! I love how cute the notes look, how easy they are to use and how you can personalize the notes and even turn them into a notepad. Let me show you how:

Download:

Open your downloaded (link at the bottom of the post) pdf in your default PDF reader. If you don’t have one, you can download the Adobe Reader for free here.

Customize:

Add your kid’s names to the download using the text box. If you would like to include your name on the note, add that as well. Here’s a quick how-to video.

After making your changes, save and print as many copies you would like. Cut the sheets in half.

Make a Notepad

You can easily turn your notes into a note pad in 2 easy steps!

After cutting, stack all notes on top of each other. put a piece of card stock on the top and bottom of your piles of notes. Use some binder clips to hold the paper together.
Use rubber cement (which you probably already have) or padding compound to brush along the top edge of your notepad. Allow to dry. Pull off the top piece of card stock and viola….you have a notepad!

Easy. Cute. Practical. You will love using these notes and teachers will love getting them!
